The Salons Privés at a a glance
Celebrate your event in the Palais Todesco – a unique location opposite the Vienna State Opera.
The spacious halls offer the perfect setting for banquets, receptions, Christmas parties and your very own individually staged event. The salons are available to you individually or as a whole ensemble.
With the latest technology, you can hold meetings or conferences during the day in a quiet environment.

The Festsaal
The Dancehall of the Todescos
The former dance hall of the Todesco family now serves as a large ballroom. The large doors can be pushed into the wall at the side, which means the room can be opened up to the adjacent rooms and connected to them. The large windows offer a view of the Vienna State Opera.
It is ideal for a festive banquet at the long table or an evening event with gala tables. With its 108 squaremetres, it offers enough space for up to 80 people for a seated meal.
The Blue Salon is particularly impressive due to the wall design that gives it its name. It used to be used as a study.
Today, during the day, it offers the perfect setting for your next business lunch, the presentation of a new product or a seated dinner for up to 30 people. Since the room can be separated from the others, it is also a great place to celebrate in an intimate setting.
This room is named after the interior designer who is also responsible for the wonderful wood paneling.
The magnificent but at the same time intimate room has a size of 45 square meters and can accommodate up to 22 people at an elegant table and is ideal for exclusive events.
Did you know that you can also get married here? The Salon Privés is an official registry office location where lovers can say “I do”!
In the past, you could enter this room directly from the grand staircase, which was used as a reception hall.
Today, it impresses with its versatility: from exclusive business lunches to presentations, concerts or weddings – in the Salon Strauss, events become something very special.
The perfect room to start an event with an aperitif while marvelling at the ceiling painting – the main work by Carl Rahl “Judgement of Paris”.
Today, the former dining room is used as a reception room for our guests. You can admire the wonderful ceiling painting over a glass of champagne and canapés, leaving plenty of time to greet your guests personally.
Our Paris Salon is the perfect start to a successful event.
Unfortunately, billiards is no longer played here, but a wonderful brunch buffet is set up every Sunday. So why not visit our exclusive Sunday brunch for your next anniversary?
The Private Bar is also suitable – as the name suggests – as a bar to get in the mood for a business lunch or to end the Christmas party in a relaxed manner.

of the Palais Todesco
The Todesco Palais was built between 1861 and 1864 according to plans by Ludwig Förster and Theophil Hansen for the bankers Eduard and Moriz von Todesco. Built in the Renaissance style, the palace is a representative building typical of its time.
At least as important as the external appearance and facades of the Ringstrasse palaces was their interior design, which was often planned down to the smallest detail and conceived as a total work of art. In the palace planned and furnished by Theophil Hansen for Eduard and Moritz Todesco, nothing was left to chance. The interior design of these palace rooms is one of the most important achievements of historicism in Vienna.
